I’m so grateful you’re here.
In my 20s, I wrote the kind of songs that I thought would help get me signed. Now in my late 30s, I write the songs I need for myself; songs about existing in a body under pressure.
I want to write a kind of modern protest music: often political in its subject matter, but also soulful, and intimate. GRACE PERIOD gives voice to the experiences often left out of pop narratives – mid-life fertility clocks, long term relationships, feminine rage, body politics.
